Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi,
Our business model consists of an online shop (very few orders) and traveling around to different art shows. Since POS taxes are calculated based on the store location for in person transactions, what is the best method for changing tax rates as we travel to different cities, counties, or states while being able to have all available “store” inventory available?
Ideally, it would be nice if POS would calculate tax rates based on location of the device.

I am setting up a POS location for a show I do at a specific address every year in a neighboring state as a separate location. Then I think you can add a tax rate to that location. Still working on it though.
That's fairly easy, can't figure out how to easily sync the inventory though. I have one inventory and I need it available to all locations. I feel like it would be simple to have a way to add a custom Tax Rate to the app. Then for shopify to promote the POS app as an app for markets and on the go, but not having a way to change rates on the fly is a little disappointing TBH.
