How to have more than 25 automatic discounts / feature upgrade request

I have a need for a lot more than the maximum 25 automatic discounts based on qty.  My clients do a lot of bulk selling and I have the need for 3-5 discount levels for many products.

I must keep things as simple as possible for customers and for sales agents working on behalf of customers.  As I di not see an update to this limitation in the near term, how do other partners handle this problem?

Thank you.  I have resolved the problem.  I use Sparklayer b2b to drive this client store and Sparklayer has its own discounts that I was not aware of.  They work perfectly.

You mentioned that you have clients who can afford to hire sales agents, so I'm going to assume you're working with Shopify Plus stores. If so, your best bet is to build a custom automatic discounts app using Shopify Functions. This will be the most efficient option, as you can hard-code the logic for all your tiers into a single executable with minimal overhead. It will be foolproof since Shopify Functions run on Shopify's backend. Just be smart with how you code it so you don't frequently exceed the instruction count limit.

If coding isn't an option for you, you might want to try our app, Regios Discounts (4.8 stars, 64 reviews, Built for Shopify). It features a flowchart-based logic builder, similar to Shopify Flow, so you can easily add multiple logic branches to a single "discount," thereby working around the limit of 25.

I will say, though, in advance: there is a limit of 5 app-based discounts with Shopify Functions (though there are some workarounds for this), so if you have many different discount scenarios, a custom app might be your only option.

Hi Tobe,

My client is not on Shopify Plus, that is far too expensive for their business.  The sales agents are also the two office employees who also do bookkeeping, inventory management, and customer service.  I have resolved the problem.  I use Sparklayer b2b to drive this client store and Sparklayer has its own discounts that I was not aware of.  They work perfectly.
