How to link my store to Instagram and should I do a test run?

Hi,

I'm about to launch my Shopify store and I'm wondering if I should purchase one of my products to ensure everything goes smoothly, from start to finish.  Did you all do a test run?  Also, is there any advice you could give me in regards to linking my shop to my Instagram account?

Once you've finished your store and are ready to launch, it's a good idea to test your checkout by putting your store's payment provider on test mode, to ensure that the checkout process is operating smoothly and as intended. We have instructions here that you can check, if you need guidance on how to place a test order on a store. If your store is using Shopify Payments, follow the instructions listed here instead, which includes a list of test credit card numbers you can use to simulate a successful transaction.
