I haven't found a solution to this barcode not scanning, I have read many other posts and haven't found one about it scanning on desktop and not labels.

I have tested out scanning older barcodes that used to scan, then it randomly stopped. This was back in January. From that time on, it was quite frustrating so we stopped attempting to finding a solution. We thought it may be software updates and bugs, but it's still happening and we're in August now.

So far it only scans random barcodes, I don't see any difference between some of the older ones that still scan besides the fact that the labels look older. The newer ones do not scan, it's like random. I have tried different back drops and lightning and same thing. It does 100% scan on the print screen where it has the layout of all the barcodes. Which is how we've been tagging our products to track inventory. It slows down the process when we have to ring on POS, as it doesn't read or scan 100% of the time, it's less than 5% that it actually picks up during check out.

I wonder if anyone else is having the same issue. We used Rollo thermal printer and I have tweaked the darkness settings and speed and it's still the same. The only difference I see is the label being more clear however older barcodes that do scan is not as dark and still scans so I don't think that's the issue.
