Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Just paired my new Shopify Chip and Swipe reader 5656 to my iPhone and it requires an update. When I have it all connected and at 100% charge I simply click the update button that is highlighted and it only goes for about three seconds and will not actually update. I am able to manually process transactions but that is quite tedious. The website says to pair with my iPad.....I don't have one. I use my iPhone only. The device is successfully paired and as stated I can do manual transactions but it will not accept chip or swipe.
Any thoughts?
