Yesterday I set up the new tap card reader on my mpop cash register, and found out that I had to upgrade my shopify POS to the new shopify POS app, and when the upgrade was done, my mpop cash register printed a $100.00 Shopify bill. It as a number on it, can this be redeemed on anything shopify? Anyone else had that happen?
I don't even think I upgraded the app but I had the same thing happen. I have no idea why!? Anyone know what this means?
Mine did it too?
Seriously, You think Shopify is going to give money away. They can't even get there POS to work properly.
Just wait until you have to do a return on a cash sale with no receipt.
Or a second return or exchange on the same order. NOT
Maybe it's for a second swipe reader as a back up because your first one will die at the worst moment.
This just happened to me but here is what shopify responded:
I got a confirmation from our team and they said that it's normal. It will only print that bill as a confirmation that the printer has been successfully connected. It happens when the printer got disconnected for some reason then successfully reconnected again.
