Updated the iPad (iOS 12.3.1) to the latest Shopify POS version (5.31.0). Opened a box that contains a new Shopify Retail Stand with Tap & Chip Dock. The card reader isn't seen in Shopify POS. I've power cycled both the iPad and the card reader.
I can see the card reader's lights are actively searching for a Bluetooth connection. Any suggestions?
Issue has been resolved. If anyone runs into this, you have to hold the power button down on the new Tap & Chip Readers for 4 seconds in order to start pairing mode. The bundled instructions didn't mention this. Also I ensured Shopify Payments were enabled for this test shop. All good now!
