I ordered from my friends store to test it. He canceled the order and I got the email saying it was cancelled and not refunded yet. He clicked refund now Aswell. After, he deactivated the store since he wanted to make a different store that still had the 3 day trial. An hour later and he just got the money in his paypal. But the email says it will be refunded but not yet. He didn't accept the money yet, and it says I will get a refund. What will happen? He canceled the order and it says it will refund. But he still got the money in his paypal. Will shopify take the money out of his account to refund it to me? The order was not fulfilled .

If he did not accept the money yet on his Paypal account, it will be refunded back to your account. You can reach out to Paypal support team so they can provide you more details about how long the refund will reflect on your account.
