POS Creates Two Checkouts For Single Purchase

At least twice a day our POS creates two checkouts per purchase.

 

One checkout goes through normally and a duplicate checkout becomes abandoned. It's become frustrating and embarrassing because our in-store customers are getting out online abandoned cart emails for something they've already purchased. We've had to stop our abandoned cart campaign and it's costing us.

 

Has anyone experienced something like this before?
