Our iPad Air 2 (!) has been running the POS system at our retail location for many years but it really starting to show it's age. I inherited this system which has more or less been running well for many years. My default approach to the new HW would just be to get the newest/latest supported version of the iPad Air because I think this will be the least intrusive change to introduce but I'm open to another/different approach if you have any suggestions?? And/or maybe you've upgraded yourself recently and there are "gotchas" I should be aware of??
Thanks in advance for any feedback on this!!
I recently purchased and have been using the latest iPad Air equipped with the M2 chip. As a result, I can confidently say that it operates flawlessly, fully utilizing the M2 chip's capabilities and providing a smooth user experience. If other users are experiencing performance issues or lag, I highly recommend considering an iPad with an M-series chip.
