Shopify needs to have their programming team implement a limited charge state into the POS GO because the battery is swelling so much that its constantly being disconnected from the dock. Most of us have our POS go in a constant charged state so it will always start to swell. Please add a limited charge state or "always plugged in" charge state so the battery will not swell.
*UPDATE*
I was able to contact a shopify advisor and they said they are going to try to get a replacement POS GO device for me, and I was very adamant about making sure she tell the tech/programming team to implement some sort of solution to those of us who keep these devices in a perpetual state of full charge. Everyone with a swollen POS go device please try to contact a support agent about this!
We've already replaced one of ours. The functionality of these things is seriously limited. If it's connected to the dock, you can't turn it off. It just reboots. If you turn off the screen at the end of the day (but the device is still on), it still reboots at 2am and the screen stays on all night. It's like they want the battery to fail...
We've started taking ours out of the dock at night. If you are using it mainly as a customer facing screen, I think that can help.
