Is anyone else struggling to with their POS base and ipad case. I have gone through two of each and it shows my ipad is charging but battery decreases. I am on with support now but wanted to see if anyone else has problems with these!?

Yes, others have had a similar POS base problem with iPads saying they are charging but have been loosing power. A hack is to use Apple-certified direct charger overnight so the battery stays healthy. And then there are the background apps and auto-brightness, which you can disable in POS settings to grant you even more battery leeway when not in use. The slow charging could be masking problems.

Everything was working fine and now multiple people are seeing an issue.  If I plug it into an apple charger there is NO loss of power at all.  Its just when its on the Shopify stand.  There is something going on as it was OK until Summer 25 release

Yes, totally.  They have sent 2 replacement stands neither of which has fixed the issue, its cost me £200 in electricians fees so far too.   Support seem to be unaware its an issue.  I have a feeling that an app opdate around laucnh of summer 25 has caused the issue

Hi Jeryn,

Maybe its worth teaming up here as I am getting nowhere with support.  I have just been on to support again, they are now going to replace the mount but I cant see it making any difference but will update you.

 

What have support suggested to you?
