POS Update bug / broken feature? Barcodes & multiple products

Last week if I scanned a barcode that is shared between two products (I sell wine, and it is common for wineries to reuse barcodes across multiple vintages of the same wine, so Chardonnay Z 2018 has the same barcode as Chardonnay Z 2019) it would pop up a window asking me which of the products I was trying to ring up.

 

After the latest update, that no longer happens and it defaults to one or the other without asking to specify. Is this a bug? Did this feature get killed? This functionality was pretty vital to my day to day operations. Please Shopify reps, respond and let me know if we can either fix or add back this feature in a hot-fix quickly?
