So how am I actually able to sell product just from making a website?
Can someone please explain that to me a little better and where to go to/how to get to the place where I can acually get the products I'm supposedly selling?

I get where you're coming from—it sounds like you’re just starting out and trying to figure out how selling online actually works. Setting up a Shopify store is one thing, but getting actual products to sell is another step entirely. Let me break it down for you in a simple way.
1-Choose What You Want to Sell – If you’re producing your own products, that’s great! You’ll be selling things you make. If not, you’ll need to source products from suppliers (I'll explain this below).
2-Set Up Your Shopify Store – Once your store is live, you’ll need to list products with descriptions, prices, and images.
3-Source Products (If You’re Not Making Them Yourself) – This is where you either:
4-Market Your Store – You won’t make sales just by launching a website. You’ll need to drive traffic through social media, ads, SEO, or email marketing.
5-Process Orders & Ship to Customers – When a customer buys something, you either pack and ship it yourself or your supplier handles it for you.
