We recently noticed that when you refund to gift card in the Shopify POS app the customer you add to the order to receive the gift card does not get saved when you complete the transaction and the gift card is created without their details saving with it. We are adding the customer to the order to have the gift card sent to them but then when you finish and check the gift card it appears with no customer details. We have been having to do a workaround but would rather not as it is causing extra work for staff and we don't want any customers to be left without their gift card attached to their information. Has anyone else noticed this? Any solutions?
