Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Hi, we have this scenario.
One company called "Nro 1" wich is using Shopify.
Another company called "Nro 2" wich is using Shopify.
We need to share inventory from "Nro 2" to be selled in "Nro 1" Ecommerce Website.
Obviously "Nro 1" company will invoiced all selled products regardless of their origin.
Also we will need to offer pickup store, so one person who is buying and paying in “Nro 1” Ecomm Website must have the option to go to “Nro 2” company´s physical store get the products.
Is there any way to work in this way?
Regards!
There are many store sync apps available,
but none that also integrate into shipping-pickup afaik.
So you may need to also use an app like atomyard's local-delivery app https://apps.shopify.com/local-delivery-1
What you want to avoid is doubling inventory of products you do not want to continue selling when out of stock.
Because otherwise if you make "Nro 2" a native admin location with inventory for pickup purposes your no longer sharing inventory but doubling it.
So you may either need something custom for both stores connecting the backend and a theme customization for "Nro 1" to display a non-native pickup option.
There's also using automation apps like usemechanic to craft your own data sync logic

Merchatns that need to do discovery and development for this type of logistics can contact me with details for project pricing.
Hi, but as I have reading and testing (using Stocky) Shopify allow us to use inventory from several locations keeping it updated
The restriction is that all those locations must belong to the same company ...
We need to consume inventory from different companies stores.
It´s like a franchises model...

Yes thus why I mentioned apps like usemechanic to roll your own systems to meet business requirements.
