Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
Any item on your Shopify POS sales channel can be purchased thru the POS...regardless of inventory...even when it's out of stock...and there's no fix for this.
Not being able to control POS sales based on inventory defeats the purpose linking POS and online sales to the same inventory system.
Shopify Support acknowledged this is an issue (and has been for over 3 years), but there's no ETA for a fix and no workaround that would actually work in a real-world brick & mortar.
Anyone here have a realistic solution?
And/or any Shopify reps out there able to provide some real info on the ETA for fixing this? Shopify, are you listening or just lurking? 🙂
