Sit in or Take Away price in cafe work around on POS please

We would like to have a percentage tile on the till that allows us to add day 10% for sitting in the cafe to the total bill.  Is this something anyone has found how to do? I can find a discount tile but not the other way around.   Many thanks, Eleanor

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add a percentage to the total bill using the tile feature in most point-of-sale (POS) systems. The tile feature is usually used to apply a discount to the total bill, but not to add an additional amount.

One alternative solution would be to create a separate line item for the "sitting fee" on the bill and manually calculate the 10% of the subtotal. This would give you the desired result. If you are using a manual till, you could write this amount on a piece of paper and add it to the total bill.
