Sleep/screen dimming not working in new POS

Hi there,

We’re having a lot of trouble replicating the screen dimming settings in new POS - basically, no matter what setting we use (Shopify POS or iOS Settings) the iPads keep sleeping.

This happens on two different iPads using two different iOSs’ (12 and 13).

This is constant frustration during busy pop-up sales, any help would be much appreciated.

This is an accepted solution.

It seems that you have to set the iOS and app settings, restart the iPad, and reset all the same settings again before they stick. It’s weird but that’s what worked for us.
