Socket Mobile Continuous Scanning?

Hello,

Wondering if there is anyway to set the socket mobile scanner to do continuous scanning for a fixed pos location? There is one counter with a POS always operating where the socket mobile scanner is sitting in the cradle. We would like to be able to scan items by passing them by the scanner instead of having to pick it up and press the button.

Since this is a fixed POS location, having to press the button each time wastes a lot of time.
