Retail hardware, software, and Shopify Point of Sale
We run a bar and have two physical locations with two registers at each location. When customers come in, we collect a card to open a Saved Cart (or tab) under their name. When the same customer wants to check out, we have to process their payment on the same register we opened their Saved Cart because the two registers can’t sync Saved Carts.
We’ve requested this feature many times since signing up with Shopify in late 2020. Is this on the developers roadmap? It’s an essential feature that will not only help existing POS Pro customers like ourselves, but also a HUGE selling point for potential future customers running a bar, coffee shop, or any retail operation that requires more than one register.
