VIP Discounts

How do you give specific customers a discount.  Ie - my VIPS get 10% off.  But they do not get an additional 10% off clearance items.  Anyone know of a way that it will trigger for this customer that they get a discount.  My staff are not going to know which customers get the discounts.

Hi There!

Here is a proposed solution:

1. Create a discount code in "Discounts"->"Create Code"
2. Under "Applies To" select "Specific Collections" and select a Collection that does not contain Clearance Items
3. Set "Customer Eligibility" to "Specific Customers"
4. Choose The Customers based on their Email
5. Share the code with your VIP customers, they will only be able to use it on non-clearance items.

So no way for it to be automatic but to give them the discount code?

Unfortunately not as Automatic Discounts cannot be targeted towards specific customers.

Unfortunately - I am not looking for a credit for the customer.  I need a discount.

This is what I normally do, although I find it time consuming if I need to apply the discount code to all collections except for one collection. Say we have 40 collections, and I want to give the discount to all collections except for one.

Is there a way that we can do select all collections in one click and just deselect it for the collection that should not be included?
