Hello Shopify Support,

Finally selling again outdoors with COVID over and KegTag.com had over $3500 in sales on Saturday, June 11. I went to Shopify and it said that our Shopify Payments were on hold. We used Shopify POS and a card reader to perform all the sales. The transactions were complete and receipts and products were given to the customers on site. Why is there a hold on the payouts? Makes me super nervous that we may have lost these sales. Can you help me?

I'm sorry to hear your payouts are on hold, I'm happy to share some information with you. 


There are a variety of reasons why your payouts may be put on hold (such as standard account review) but I'm able to authenticate your account through the Community forums, so I wouldn't be able to look into the exact reason in your case. What I would recommend is contacting our live Support team through the Help Center, as they'll be able to access your account and see what the next steps are to get the hold removed from your payouts.   1. Head over to this link: Contact Shopify Support · Shopify Help Center
  2. Log in (recommended) or Continue without logging in
  3. Use the Search Bar to look into your current issue, such as "Issue with payout" or "Request callback"
  4. Scroll down to where it says Get support and click Continue
  5. Choose one of the available support options


You'll then be connected to a Support Advisor who will be able to assist you with this issue.
