Where to buy UPC or barcodes for products?

I'm thinking of adding physical products I outsourced to my store, but I want to add a barcode to them? Where can I buy barcodes for my products?

I don't see why not; I use it for jewelry labels.

I don't think there's any "certification" needed for bar code labels. It's used internally to uniquely identify every item in inventory.

I don't see why one wouldn't use Shopify's free app rather than pay a third party.

 I embedded a link in the words "free app".

It's a Shopify free app, and it's called Retail Bar Code Labels.

The app is free and generating the bar codes is free.
