Which credit card reader is best for occasional pop-up events?

Most of our business is online, but we occasionally do pop ups and other events.   Is a credit card reader all I need and if so, which one do you recommend?

Shopify has a POS system.  Details of which are here - https://www.shopify.com/uk/pos

But if you don't have to use it frequently then I would just use the website to make the sale and users can input their card details on iPad/or mobile device.

If you are using a card machine, you'll have to check which is the most suitable option in your country/market. (Do thorough research about the one-time and recurring charges)
