Where do the e-mails go from POS Checkout and how can I locate them?
I attend live, in person events and use Shopify POS for my register. I am trying to create a Klaviyo Flow to automatically e-mail customers a "Thank you for Visiting!" email if they accept email marketing. I am using "AutoTag" app to (attempt) to setup an automatic temporary tag to use for this flow.
The problem is that I cannot find these new subscribers using Autotag, and all the e-mails in the orders are blank.
I had an event this previous weekend and none of my new emails are showing up. I (with consent) personally typed the e-mails in, confirmed them with the customer before submitting, asked permission to subscribe them, and watched the customers pull out their phone, find the double opt-in email and showed me that they subscribed. There -should- absolutely be subscribers but when I export my list of orders from the weekend, I have zero emails listed from any of them. I show a large amount of rows that say "Accepts marketing" but the e-mails are all completely gone.
Are they sent directly to Klaviyo and somehow entirely separate from my Shopify customer settings?
i am having this same issue. talked to shopify support which was no help. the retail team kept telling me that i was adding the customer without the email prior to checking them out, which was not the case. i tested this with my own email address and it worked, but customers it does not work for.
