Hi there!
The client I am working with reported to me that in the last few days, Shopify POS reported the wrong staff member logged in.
Earlier there were no issues.
For example:
Today morning staff person logged in with a PIN.
1st order was assigned and saved to the last logged-in user.
2nd order is correctly assigned to the currently logged user.
Any information about this?
We have a similar problem with attribution of sale to staff. Recently the sales would get attributed to random staff, not who were logged in. Then we started the manual attribution. But even with this the sale gets attributed to random staff.
Is there a solution to this?
Hello, were you guys able to find a solution? we're having the same issue.
Has anyone found a solution to this other than buying a new iPad? This is happening to one staff member in particular. She signs in in the morning but all her sales for the day are assigned to the person who closed the night before. Thanks for any insight.

We are having the same problem with logins and attribution of sale to staff.
We have two separate POS systems under Shopify plus at our stores, both are not logging in correctly and are not attributing sales correctly.
Since this past weekend the sales would get attributed to random staff, not who were logged in.
Then we started the manual attribution. But even with this the sale gets attributed to random staff.
And, some staff are getting an option to "log in" or "login with pin" that has not been seen before.
Update: I have tried everything I could think of, update, re-install, iPad updates, iPad reset, different logins, different site logins, and have decided it must be the iPad, either too old or some other issue, and we are going to config and use a different iPad.

For more help please contact our support team through the Help Center or using the 'Support' option in the POS app. In the meantime, this guide can help you edit staff attribution on orders where this was attributed incorrectly.
