I have a discount code (AMAZING20) thats all set up but is not being applied at checkout. My site is neptunesnacks.com. I'd attach a screenshot but Shopify wont allow a png or jpeg as an attachment (really?).
What am I doing wrong?
Hey @gregsinibaldi,
The possible reasons why your discount code is not being applied at checkout maybe due to the following reasons:
- You already have a (automatic) discount that is being applied at the checkout, and since shopify only permits that the customer can only apply only one discount at the checkout you can no longer use another code.
- you might have setup certain restrictions(conditions) for the discount code to be applied such as minimum order amount or maybe for specific customers.
- your discount code might have expired.
The above reasons are just a few of the reasons that I think might be the reasons why the discount code is being not allowed at checkout.
It would be much better if you can share your store URL so that I can actually check the issue would be much better.
Thanks
Thanks I'll look into this.. in the meantime my store URL is https://neptunesnacks.com/
We have a subscription model via Recharge that offers a discount on a monthly subscription. This discount code applies for those that sign up for the subscription. Could that qualify as 2 discounts?
Unfortunately only one discount can be applied at the checkout page at a time in shopify.
Hey @gregsinibaldi
I tried to add one product to the cart and apply the discount on the checkout but it gave me the error as you can see in the image below
This clearly indicates that the discount code is only valid for certain set of items. So you need to change the conditions for this discount code.
Thanks
Its set up to be a discount for other items. This clearly indicates you chose the wrong product. Its for any of the subscription products. but it sounds like you cant do that correct?
