Why won't my 2D scanner connect to the POS app?

Hi all, 


first post here, as we've just set up a new webshop and are in the process of trying to switch over our POS to this in the shop too.  Hitting a few stumbling blocks though.  We have a 12.8 Ipad Pro, and the 2d Scanner.  All other shopify hardware connected no problem, but this one just refuses to connect to the POS app.  It is showing as connect on the iPAD though.


I've ran factory resets multiple times, forgot the device, and followed all troubleshooting advice, but it still gets stuck on the step 4/4 connecting your bluetooth scanner screen.  It never gets beyond that screen.


It's vital we have a scanner in the shop.  Any help will be greatly appreciated!
