WisePad 3 Card Reader Charging Dock / Stand

Hello,

We are very new to Shopify and have just received our hardware.
We would really like to have some kind of fixed stand/dock for the Wisepad 3 card reader. One which will act as a charging dock as well so we can keep it permanently connected.

I have tried searching online for such a product with very little luck.

The Shopify UK Hardware store had nothing like this for sale, I was recommended to come on here and ask the community if anyone else had managed to find anything like this?

If anyone in the UK has had any luck with sourcing such a stand/dock would you please be a star and put a link to the device?

No - tried - To be honest Shopify is now becoming a complete joke of a company now.  Force you to get a new reader BUT do no supply a stand, truly laughable

I found some company in Cornwall that make stands for the wisepad 3 card reader.

They are called 3dbitz and apparently design and 3d print them in Cornwall.

Thank you for the reply, as it happens we actually ended up finding these online and ended up ordering one.

We had hoped to find one where it would have been easier to hide the charger cable, and possibly one that would  pivot but have yet to be able to.
However these 3D printed ones are pretty decent for the time being.

They have magnetic charging ports and screw mounts on the back, so why is it so hard to find a stand?

We just got forced into updating to the wisepad 3 as well and its a complete joke there is no charging stand either included or available for sale. This new keypad is going to get stolen or damaged in a week of use! Shopify really has no clue what they are doing now.

We need something in Canada.  Right now those 3d prints don't ship outside of the UK

I agree I can’t believe I gave up my nice stand and card reader that I purchased 30 days before they announced the change you think they could’ve given you some kind of notice and all they gave me was a $69 refund to put towards new WisePad threes without a stand. .  I just saw WisePad three with a stand on a Shopify ad on Instagram so I thought I Google it and see why it’s not available in the SHOPIFY Canada hardware store and was was surprised that Etsy is advertising that they have stands for the WisePad three I just don’t understand it we need the stands we don’t need to run out of power. We don’t need to have a little cord hanging off of the back wall with Pastor the customer Shopify is supposed to be the most sophisticated e-commerce site with support for a point of sales retail pop-up and trade show activity come on Shopify show them what first class looks like when we’re face-to-face with a customer please.

I noticed we can attach the new Wisepad into the inside of the old tap reader stand if we detach the usb connector that is in the way. 

We added a velcro back to the Wisepad and the old stand and attach the Wisepad to the old stand and it works like a charm!  It almost looks like an actual official stand! 

If I get a chance, i'll upload a photograph of it.
