Hi,
I purchased a WisePad 3 and there is ZERO sound when cards are tapped. No sound when the card is accepted and no sound when the card is declined. Is this how it works? If so that's not great. People hover their phones of the screen so it's hard to tell if the card has been tapped.
Also don't you think some sort of logo on the device might help with the trustworthiness of the device? I've had many questions about the device. When I say "Shopify" they all know it can be trusted.
Maybe you could create a device like Square.
Anyways, some advice to get the device to make sounds would be great.
Hi, @Yieki. There should be a sound when cards are accepted, although the sound can be missed in loud environments. Our developers are aware and this is something we are considering for the future. I'm happy to pass on your feedback about this as well.
