API call being clocked by client

Hi everyone!

I'm currently trying to build a custom app and this is my first time building one. I'm having an issues with making an API call to the server. My route works fine when testing it on postman but making the call on the client I keep getting errors (screenshot below). I've tried to add cors on my server but that didn't work. Is there something that I am missing here? Any help would be appreciated!
