Cin 7 to Shopify Product Matching

Looking for insight into how Cin7 and Shopify match products. We have been having issues with our inventory counts being off between these two platforms for quite some time now. I believe it has something to do with how we have matched or synced our products, but not too sure what to change or how to fix the issue.

I would recommend reaching out the developer themselves about any unexpected discrepancies in inventory counts between Shopify and the app itself.

Generally we recommend deleting all custom mapping & starting again inCin7 to download & map - this removes all the legacy/band-aid instances - this process would identify the products in Shopify that do not have a matching SKU in Cin7, we would then correct Shopify to have the right SKU at the SKU/Variant level of what is in Cin7, then run it again - your aim would be to have zero custom mapping unless really required and so the Shopify SKU or Barcode field has 100% true mapping to the Cin7 Code or Barcode fields vs patching
