Development discussions around Shopify APIs
For a Shopify - ChannelEngine integration I am busy with trying to get the right producttype/category in ChannelEngine. Before, the producttype was not set but only had a suggestion, therefore the customized producttype that was brought in through an old Magento migration:
standaard is standard, Aangepast is customized
Because the standard was not fixed only the "variation" now comes into ChannelEngine, which is a problem because mapping now becomes very hard.
ChannelEngine says they only take the deepest level, which was the original category: "variation", now i was wondering if it would harm anything if i remove the customized or if anyone can check for me if this is not doing anything as Variations tab has it's own variations.

Dear Support,
I have tried removing the "variation" producttype and this works, the right category now comes into ChannelEngine. Could you please check if the "variation" category is connected to something?
If not, i will remove it from all products.
