Development discussions around Shopify APIs
Keep getting the following error all of the sudden today. Tried using a different browser, reinstalling the app...to no avail.
We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

Ok, just reinstalled and selected all scopes, just like last time, but it is working now.
FYI, I wasn't getting this error when I first installed the app. I had installed the app quite awhile ago and then yesterday, it suddenly stopped working and producing that error. So maybe some backend dev work was going on etc yesterday? But whatever it was, it is fixed now. Thanks for looking into it.
Hi @MozzoERP
I'm not aware of any downtime for the app, are you still having trouble? I tested on my shop and it works fine. If you are still having trouble, can you share the shop id you're trying it on and I can take a look? Thanks!

@Busfox thanks. It is still happening. Shop Id: 6112837702
Hi again @MozzoERP,
It looks like when no scopes are selected upon installation, instead of using an empty array, the scopes value becomes null and triggers an exception. We're going to fix this, but for now, can you reinstall and select at least one scope? Let me know if that does the trick.

Hi @Busfox ,
From what I recall, and what this screenshot shows, I selected to have all scopes/permissions possible when installing.
Not sure if "scope" and "permissions" are the same thing? I'll try to reinstall and look explicitly for something called "scope", but when I installed, I remembered trying to give the app full access to everything.

Hi again,
Yes I meant permissions. I'm glad the issue is resolved! I'm working with the team who built this app to try to figure out what happened. I'd be happy to post back here with any findings if you are curious. Cheers,

Ah, I see the terminology when you are installing the app is "scopes", but when you go into the "About" of the app after it is installed, it refers to them as permissions...so one in the same it seems.
Yes, I'd love to know what you find out if possible. Thanks @Busfox !
Hi,
having the same issue. Nothing helped.
