Import of Legacy Customers - Total Amount Spent?

Hi,

We just decided to scrap our self-built webshop and use Shopify.

I created a script using the Ruby SDK for Shopify to add all of our old customers to Shopify. I'm essentially importing emails and some tags, however is it possible to import total_spent? Also is it possible to import created_at? 

I couldn't find this in the documentation, just a bunch of examples. If not possible, I can just solve it with tags with spent delimiters (such as "spent_more_than_x_up_to_y_dollars").

Hey Johan,

Currently there is no way to import either of these values through the API. I would suggest using tags as you've mentioned.
