Invoking native mobile app push notifications

I am writing a native (non-shopify) iOS/Android mobile app for a customer, and they would like push notifications of shopify events in that app. I was wondering, does the backend node.js of a shopify app have the ability to use the firebase admin node.js sdk to push out notifications, and would there be any sandboxing or firewall issues that would block this call from making it to Firebase from the node.js backend of the Shopify app?

I,m having trouble in adding notifications for my private app. I have no idea how can i enable notifications for my store in private app. Because I have thought that we can enable notifications from One Signal  and Firebase Push Notifications. Is there any api,s or guide provided for  adding shopify notifications on mobile app then plz help me. I,m new to shopify and  i have no idea how to add that.
