how do i open the code to find my location id?

does anyone else find shopify "help center" to be completely useless?

Sorry to hear you had some issues navigating the Help Center. Can I ask specifically what you think could be better so I can pass some recommendations onto our team? I'd be happy to do that; we're always looking for feedback and ways to improve.  

As for your location ID,  you can find this information in the /shop.json of your admin. To get the location ID easily, you can use the following URL, replacing "yourstorename" with the name of your own store:

https://yourstorename.myshopify.com/admin/shop.json?fields=primary_location_id 

This URL will return the value of the location ID. It will look something like this example:



 Your location ID is the 8 digit number (11111111 in this example). Let me know how this goes!
