Navigation links not getting selected style

I am following the Node example app (including the ClientRouter bit) to build an embedded app, and I'm running into an issue with the Navigation links that are defined in the admin. They show up when I define them and clicking on them takes me to the correct page in the app, but the style on the links doesn't change and the first one always shows as the current page. Is there anything I need to do in order to update them? I'm having trouble finding any documentation beyond basic setup.

Thanks for checking in about this. This issue has been noted in one of our public GitHub repos HERE - our Developers have picked this one up and are actively working towards a solution. More updates should be available via that thread once the fix has been shipped!
