Product image metafields endpoint is not working

Hey guys!

I'm trying to get image's ALT tag, but using your endpoint 

GET /admin/metafields.json?metafield[owner_id]=1998675869738&metafield[owner_resource]=product_image

it is not really working, I don't see any metafield at all.

This image with this ID above has ALT tag, I set it in admin dashboard. 

Also, I tested with API and created ALT tag for the image which didn't have it and still can't see it's metafields.

What am I doing wrong?

Hey there, 

I was just trying to have a look at this, but when trying to find the product image with the ID from the API call you pasted above, it doesn't seem to exist anymore. Has it just been removed? If so, do you have an ID for a new image you've been working with? 

Your API call looks good to me, I'm able to use 

admin/metafields.json?metafield[owner_id]=992019578895&metafield[owner_resource]=product_image

without having any problems, so at the moment I'm a bit stumped. Would love to look into it further if you have a fresh image ID though!
