hello can u tell me step by step how to create an API at our shopify store?

(its actually sometyhing related to webhook)

actually we want to relate our website with another one, so in case we updated our stock it will be automatically updated to the other website. that's why we we want to create an api to our store

I'm not sure I understand your question - you're wondering how to use webhooks to keep 2 different stores' inventories in sync?

Webhooks are a way to subscribe to events (such as when inventory levels change) that take place on a store to an external application of some kind. So you could host an application somewhere to manage this bridge, but I'm a bit confused why you would even want to double-count inventory like this across multiple stores.

Hi James,

True it's about keeping the inventory in sync!

It's not gonna be across multiple stores, it will be related only to one website that has some of our SKUs in their store too.

So this process couldn't be achieved only inside shopify, we should add external application or plugin?
