Shopify app installation process

In Shopify documentation it is mentioned that , the moment a merchant clicks on add app , the first screen we should see is Oauth permissions screen , but how do we authenticate the user if we have to show the Oauth flow initially ,
In our business case , the user must first login to our app and then go through the Oauth process.
