Shopify Inventory POST API

I am trying POST request from POSTMAN

below is my API URL

https://xxxx:xxxx@xxxx.myshopify.com/admin/api/2020-07/inventory_levels/set.json

with body as plain text

I am receiving below error

"inventory_item_id": "Required parameter missing or invalid"

Simple question: how often is this inventory level renewed? Is that automatically, hourly, daily or on request?

And is the inventory the shopowners number or is it an integration from Aliexpress, which makes it the inventory from Aliexpress?
