shopify running in an iframe - is this even possible these days without extensive development

Hi,

Ive been reading forums and searching for a clear answer if it is possible to use shopify in an Iframe without extensive development.

Since 2017 when the policy on iframes was changed i have not seen official mention of this.

is anyone using such a configuration?  or is the policy completely blocking this path

the only other alternative I can see is headless shopify which is not a small expense and time expenditure

It has never been wise to run Shopify in an iframe. Obviously you can, as it is just an ordinary HTML element with well-known and understand operations, but in general, it is not recommended.

Give it a shot and see where you land. Nothing answers questions like this like a little bit of experimenting.
