Hello,

I recently installed themekit (1.3.0) and attempted to create a new theme with the following command, however, it refuses to create a new theme with the following error.

theme new --password=shppa_mypass --store=storedemo.myshopify.com --name=storetheme

Error:

request failed after 5 retries with error: <nil>

I would really appreciate the help. Thank you.

Make sure the key is valid and that whatever you setup has it's permissions properly set to allow theme access

Also try running themekit with verbose mode and double checking it is the latest version using the command line.

Hello @onderakbulut & @PaulNewton,

The only way I could fix the issue was by creating a new store and using it's credentials. Or you can try deleting and recreating the private app first, if it still doesn't work, new store seems like the only way for now.

If you get the chance try the Themekit Access App on the problem store to see if it has trouble too.
