Total sales of Specific Date Range

Hi

I am creating a custom app to get the Shopify analytics in my custom app

I am trying to get the Total sales of particular dates and I am using the order API to get the total sales

I did not get any formula or any method to get the same sales price which is showing in Shopify Analytics Dashboard. 

Can anyone tell me which variable we have to add to get the total sales 

I have also checked with  Report API to get this information but its showing in reports dashboard in Shopify not able to get the data using API in our app 

Can anyone suggest me What will be the easiest way to query the total sales?
