Using private App to access analytics data

Basically a repeat of this question

My team would like to store the conversion information (total_visitors, sessions, etc) in-house. It seems that the on the only way to get this info is using the REST API analytics visit schema and you have to access using an embedded app. Because we are using this data in-house, we would like to avoid making a public app just to access this information. However, there isn’t much info on how to make your private app an embedded app. If you have any suggestions on how to do this or another way to access this information please let me know!

Hello Jasmine,

Private apps do not have access to app extensions, such as the Embedded App SDK (App Bridge). In order to accomplish this you would need to create a public app, but you could leave it unpublished so that your only your team is able to find and access it.
