What are shopify’s standard API abuse-prevention measures?

There are no hard rate limits on the Ajax API. It’s still subject to Shopify’s standard API abuse-prevention measures.

That's the quote from https://shopify.dev/docs/themes/ajax-api. Can anyone give more accurate numbers about "subject to Shopify’s standard API abuse-prevention measures"? Like 3 requests to one endpoint per second.
