Why some orders cannot be captured in Shopify background by ERP system via Shopify API

Please Help 

Our programmer makes the sale analysis and found that there are some orders that can not catch when our ERP system catches the data from our Shopify store.  Most orders can be caught.

What could be the probable reason?
