I have this notice showing to me after i tried to publish my facebook audience building ad. They said to republish after a few minutes but everytime i did that the same error notice would show. Its really frustrating that I cant publish any adverts. Anyone with knowledge to solve this, pls feel free to reply to this thread.

I'm seeing the same error.  Did it finally resolve itself?  I've tried republishing a few times now.

I am having the same issue and my IG ads have stopped spending my budget.

I was able to get around this by using Kit to schedule it.  It failed with Kit as well, but they handle the error differently. A link was shared for me to accept some user agreements on the Facebook side. Then it worked.  After that I no longer had a problem scheduling it.

I am having these same issues and I am super new to all of this. Can I ask what Kit is?

I just solved this problem for myself. After doing the initial things mentioned like making sure my email and payment settings were correct, I then went to Business Settings - Brand Safety - Domains and verified my domain. Then I had to go to Events Manager and manually added pixel events to track. I think these are all changes due to the new iOS. Took me forever but it seems to have solved the problem.

Hi, after doing these settings did you wait for 72 hrs or it immediately started working. Should I create new campaign Or republish same which is showing error.

It seemed to take effect after a few minutes. I republished the same ad that had gotten the error message and it was listed as Pending for a couple of hours and was then approved.

I found this video helpful for help with domain verification and pixel help.

Which other platform worked for you ? FB app was giving so good ROI, I am planning to use Facebook Ads & Instagram Adsby Brainity Software, SL. What do you suggest ?

I have raised a job as well for shopify expert, if they will resolve than i will share the reference.

Yep, for me it was not having a payment method tied to the ad account.

Hi i was having same problem , i checked all my settings all correct .

However, i went on to facebook and into ad manager and every time i had "re-published" in Shopify the ad was duplicating on facebook, so i had endless amount of the same campaign, lucky they were not all running.

Anyway, i deleted them all, republished and then headed over to facebook and switched the ad on. Still showing on shopify as not published but is doing its job over on facebook atleast.

"Solution-

Go to your Facebook business manager account. Under business settings, go to business info. Provide your email address and click on " Send verification Email"

Go to your inbox and verify it. If not found in primary inbox, try checking under social tab or spam. Once verified, edit your facebook campaign on shopify and re-submit it.

That's It." -Credit to

I had the same issue. This is what I discovered.  I was trying to connect my PayPal to fund any advertising that I wanted to do.  Simple, right???

WRONG...so eventually I used my 'new 'debit (credit card)...went straight through. The old card had reached it's expiry date, but it is on the same account.

So...what was the problem.  Well, facebook disabled my ad account in November 2018 with no notice or explanation.  One day it was working, the next day NOT!!!

I sent review request every week...I was told, nothing could be done...but, what had I done???

Then on 15 May 2020, I get an email from facebook, after my weekly rant...here is how is it played out:

"What you submitted
Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 9:15 PM

Why are you requesting a review?

I’m not sure which policy was violated.

Hi FT,

We reviewed your Facebook account and determined that access to advertising features was incorrectly disabled.
We've reinstated your access to advertising. Any ads that were affected will return to their previous status.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thanks,
The Facebook Business Team"

It turns out that the PayPal account was connected to the disabled account, so it would not let me connect...my shopify store with facebook

Check out if you have been in this position in the past.  Facebook, will NOT allow a previous card/paypal account connected to a now disabled account to reconnect.

So using the new debit card got around it.  But to finish the story of the disabled ad account...it's now been closed/disabled (again), or what ever you want to call it.

This is another appeal I currently have going.  It never ends!!!

ps. the new ad account set up for my facebook page got accepted, even though, it's me still using it.  Go figure...???

I am rather frustrated, too, at their lack of communication and clarity.  Do they want to make money from ads or not? Can they make it easier for us to understand what we need to do, what problems are causing issues, etc?  I would think, yes.

You must pick the product up to 5, then your ads will work!

I’m getting the same issue.  I have checked my payment method and email address, number of items, everything seems valid.  You would think they would want money….

Where you able to fix? I’m having same issue

We have not resolved the issue. We’ve tried everything and have been on chat with Shopify multiple times trying to resolve to no avail. We moved our ads to other platforms because I got sick of the run around.

Yes, here is what I wrote previously. This is what I did to fix it for myself:

After doing the initial things mentioned like making sure my email and payment settings were correct, I then went to Business Settings > Brand Safety > Domains and verified my domain. Then I had to go to Events Manager and manually added pixel events to track. I think these are all changes due to the new iOS. Took me forever but it seems to have solved the problem.

I resolved my problem but mine was because the account glitched and had set the instagram account to ‘disable’ within my facebook business manager. The only way you will get a resolution if you have been working at this days and tried the other suggestions listed here is to get on the chat feature on Facebook and tell them you’re done dealing with this and you need to schedule a call with Facebook, at that point they send you to over to someone capable within the chat service and if they can’t solve the problem, they then schedule a call. I had been dealing with my issue for many days and Facebook was initially useless, everyone I spoke to read from a script, once I got a little aggravated and told them I wanted a call scheduled immediately, they transferred me to someone else (on the chat) and the guy fixed my two week problem in less than 2 minutes.

I also often have this problem with Facebook ads, they are blocked and I can't help it. They have very large restrictions that I cannot fully understand myself. Advertising in social media attracts a lot of customers, which means that the Facebook administration has a very strict regime of adding new advertising.

You can do like me, I used a third party and they started advertising my bitcoin site, the result is really impressive.

Thank

Login to your Facebook business manager, and go to settings. after that click on more business settings. check if your domain & email is verified in brand safety section. If so please open events manager form left menu.

Once opened, click on data sources & click Aggregated Event Measurement. Then click on manage web events & Add events accordingly. For example you can add three events as search, purchase and input card information. once added save and run your add again. It will work.

This is was simply ensuring all people with access to Admin account of Meta Business Suite had ability to control all elements of Instagram.
